There is many things that make myself who I am but today I am going to show you the things that mean the most to me.
Rosary
The first thing in my symbolic cultural bag is the rosary; the rosary is the most symbolic because my grandpa passed away as he preyed with it. The beads around the string that made up the rosary were just magnificent, every time I look at that rosary I think of him and the beads as they glistened in the light of his hospital room. We decided to barry my grandfather with this rosary in his hands. I will never forget the rosary and my grandfather.
Dog
The second thing on my list is my dog Rascal; he is very symbolic to him my family and I. My dog is so crazy and rambunctious well that’s why we named him that. Anyway my dog is so special to me but mostly my mom because he was by her side through times of struggle. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and she had to undergo lots of treatments, My dog rascal was by her side showing her love through all of this. Rascal was a very important part on my mom’s life, and that’s why I will never forget my dog.
Pilot Book
Ever since I was 8 I wanted to be an airline pilot for united airlines. I love the dream of traveling and exploring. Since this my grandma helped me though to fulfill my dream. When I turned 10 my grandma bought me this pilot book. This book tells me about being a pilot and what it takes to be a pilot. I still have this book and I am 12! Whenever I see my book I think of my grandma and being a pilot.
WWII books
When my grandfather new it was his final moments on this earth. He gave me a present it was a box filled with books from WWII including his squadron book which is like a year book to me to remember him. The sad part was the next day he passed away. I am glad my grandfather gave these to me his will make me remember him and how he fought for me in the war.
Sports
Sports is a very important part of are family. My grandfather and dad were huge part in my sporting career. My dad would always coach me while my grandpa cheered. This all stopped when my grandpa was diagnosed with lung cancer. He had to stop coming to my games until finally he passed away so now every time I step on the field I dedicate my game to grandpa.
